What is a Pre-Rent Guarantee?

This is a document that you can include in your rental application documents to show a prospective landlord that you have met the initial criteria for obtaining a rent guarantee and you are able to provide a rent guarantor if requested. However, please note that this pre-rent guarantee cannot pass for the actual rent guarantee and we only provide the Guarantor Agreement when you have completed the full application process with us and have been properly vetted.

How is the pre-rent guarantee different from the rent guarantee

  • Needed during your house search process
  • Shows a prospective landlord that you have met the initial criteria for payfi to guarantee your rent if he chooses to rent his property to you and you are able to provide a guarantor if requested.

RENT GUARANTEE

  • Needed after you have been accepted by a landlord as a tenant
I have paid for the pre-rent guarantee and received a document, what do I do with it?

The document should be included in your rental application to increase your chance of getting your preferred rental property. The document shows prospective landlords that you are able to provide a rent guarantor if requested.

Do I still need the rent guarantee after paying for the pre-rent guarantee?
